Default 4.10s/posi are in....

And I don't really feel any discernable seat of the pants difference, however I havn't gone full throttle on it yet either. I figure sometime on the way to work tomorrow I'll give that a whirl and hopefully it will show me something. Can't wait for the converter, I know that will really wake things up. What did you guys notice on your bolt on trucks when you went 4.10s?

well to be honest w ya, I noticed the difference pretty well, but the reason i put them in was because I got 33" mud tires put on and my truck was so much slower. now after the 4.10's i have a decent SOTP gain down low. Yea, give it some gas tomorrow and youll see off the line what im talkin bout. however i noticed that i dont pull hard up top anymore...

3.42s.... interestingly enough the installer said that the spider gears were tore up a little and the pinion was heavily worn on the outside of the gear. He was amazed that it wasn't whining in its current state before he did the swap.

You should feel a difference in throttle response right from the get go. Did you change your tune yet? After tune is when I notice the greatest change.

so you think that once you get a retune for the gears, it will make a big difference??? cuz i havent retuned my truck yet due to not having any ABS or engine light issues....
