Default Identify gear ratio in 12 bolt???

I got a 12 bolt rearend that i'm plannin on puttin in my truck and i was told it had a 3.73 ratio in it. Will the ring gear have a number to identify it or if not what method would be the best to identify it without taking it out? thanks in advance.

you could turn your wheel and count how many times the ring gear turns and that would give you an approxiamate
