Default One top bolt on tranny bellhousing broke

Well damn. I thought I and all the bolts remove and I missed one.. I broke a small piece off of the top of the transmission bellhousing. Will this affect the function at all, think one missing bolt will still be safe to use for a while?

Some of the older 4l80e configs don't have the top bell housing bolt drilled, so I think you'd be fine..

it'll be fine, my 4l80e was the older style with one less bolt hole and i had no problems at all with it.

you only need like 4 bolts to hold it on anyways you'll never break one of those bolts with those huge dowel pins

but if the case is damaged you may want to watch for signs of cracking
