Default Finally ordered the Tune

Finally got in touch with Nelson Performance! I called them like 2 minutes before they opened.

Can't wait!

quick question I forgot to ask them while I was on the phone..

are the shift points gonna be changed to where the truck shifts when tow/haul is turned on? I noticed when I turn that on even when driving slow it takes FOREVER to shift... is my trucks gas mileage about to get really really bad after I install the tune?

no your mileage will improve. He will most likely raise the shift points, but it's not like you'll be shifting at 6000 rpms even at part throttle. Only WOT will be adjusted and maybe some 50% throttle and up

LOL

your shift points are gonna definitely be firmer, i dunno about when you use the tow/haul mode...i havent tried it out yet...but your gas mileage should get better but it prolly won't because you'll love the power increase that the tune will provide and you prolly won't be able to keep your foot out of it

Oh and to respond to this since you were being rude. Yes people have Nelson tunes but your question was dumb and has been answered many times.

one more quick "dumb" question... I'm gettin around to puttin in the HD2 shift kit.. is it a top priority mandatory thing to have them adjust the line pressure back to stock after the shift kit is installed? or should I get the new pcm on order and put it in the same day I get the kit installed yes?

Have it put back to stock. If you leave it as is, you'll start breaking big stuff in the tranny.
