Default Sending Tune back......Help

I just installed the tune for all the stuff in the Sig, but am not happy with it. The shifting is really badm I asked for it to be done to 5800, but goes to 6K, probably due to the stall and cam. When it hits 6K, it is either hitting a rev limiter or cutting out.....anyways it is very harsh. When I send it back I want to send a new list of things to tune too, plus I will be adding the 125 shot NOS, 44Lb Injectors and a new fuel pump. Please help me get this list so that the trucks runs a ton better...Thanks

with that cam i think 5800 is way to low of a rpm to be shifting at.
it should be at least 6200, no more than 6400.

That sounds like a good shift point, but with it either cutting out or shifting so bad at 6K it worries me....

i understand what you are saying.
sounds like to me the tuner didn't set the fuel cutoff (rev limiter) high enough.

Theres really only so much you can expect out of mail order tuning...it might be time to search for a good dyno tuner in your area otherwise you could rack up alot of back & forth shipping charges very quickly. I would never consider a mail order tune for things like injectors, nitrous, or cams...just too many variations between vehicles to get the same production every time.

Good luck

This is a very good point that you should adhere to. You may play a game of hit or miss for weeks until you get lucky and have the "perfect" tune.
