Ok so Im looking to completely redo my tune.
I have a cam. What do I need to do to tune for it? I have it idling nice and good. Even when the A/C kicks in. The STFT's are actually within +-5. So I think thats good too.
Are there any specific areas to look at?
Im going to follow the tuning howto but its a little confusing. It seems pieced together wrong and repeats itself.
The cam is a 212/218 Hi-lift in a 5.3.

Do you have a wideband? That is the best thing to have along with HPTuners.
If you want, email me your file and I will take a look at

What is confusing about it, maybe we can clear it up for you? If you do not have a wideband, you can still tune the part throttle stuff using the STFT (or LTFT, but it takes longer) ... just not WOT. Do you have the MPVI Pro (or the Serial E I/O)?

I have the basic hptuners USB version.
Ill be sending the file your way as soon as I get home.
Right now, it just has different transmission settings and gear/tire combo. I dropped mileage after my initial wait4me tune, and have been trying to get it back, so I just decided I needed to start with a clean slate. I know there is good mileage in there somewhere, somehow.
I do have an idle stumble when i stop. Sometime when I stop quickly, the RPMs will drop to 300 or so.
