hey guys...did some research, and some searching and I want to run a Eaton rear...reason...cause i get cost on them...lol

So which one do you guys recommend...gonna be seeing the track and street driving? 5.3..modded trans and full bolt on with cams and a stall....which eaton? true trac? detriot locker? Posi LSD? Im just not sure which one you guys are using

i will be putting in a true trac. i have heard very good things about them. want to get me a true trac at cost?

what the Eaton DEtriot tru trac?? is that what you guys are referring to?

Also..what are the advantages of either ither? driveability?

What else is need? any boyd seen a how to on install? Iv had rear ends apart and taken axels out..but never the whole assembly..

TRucks got 3:73 is it now....how much worse is gas mileage with the 4:10's??

the true trac has NO clutches. Its completely gear driven!!!

If I had the money I would be puttin in the OX locker if they make them for it. Cable actuated, limited slip when unlocked and perfect for "when you need it" by the flick of a handle. The only bad thing is they are like 800 bucks and then the cables are like 130, and don't come with the locker!

okay...but therfore the tru trac is a full tiem locker? how is it around corners?? do you guys have problems? its a DD sorta? Also trying to find aprt numbers but cant really...what size chasing is my rear end? so I now what im asking for
