I just bought a 1970 c-10 today. I have a couple questions. My rear driver side wheel isn't rotating till about 1/3-1/2 throttle. Could my drums be sticking? Also, the same tire sits about 1" out of the fender with the rear passenger side 2" inside the fender. Could this bee from a previous accident?
Thanks again. I'm new to the old school chevy scene!

yeah, sounds like your drums could be sticking. I would say that something is def. out of line if the wheels are sitting like that. Could be a bent frame, or maybe just the rear suspension is tweaked.

I got under the truck today and noticed the drive line is off center. I didn't notice any bends or cracks in the frame. So I'm gonna rule out frame damage until someone with greater knowledge looks at it. There is another problem with my passenger side tire. Under full brake it still spins. When I push harder on the brake then it stops. My brakes going? I can't check the drums untill I get a "key" for the lug bolts.

It should have the good old truck arm suspension in it. Put the truck up on 4 jack stands making it level (don't worry about front suspension droop but set the rearend on jack stands so it is compressed and place the front stands as far forward on the frame rails as possible.. Good spot is where the front cab mounts are). Take a piece of square tube or anything you can place against the frame rail and meassure from passanger frame rail to the rear lower control arm mount. Then meassure from driver frame rail to the rear passanger LCA mount. They sould be with in 1/2" of each other.
Is the truck lowered? If so how much?
If it is lowered the panhard bar could be skewing the rear towards the passanger side but that goes against what you described.

I beleive it's lowered. I picked it up from an auction just this last saturday. I paid $2300 for it. So I have no history of the truck. It has a raked stance. My mechanic is coming in tomorrow and I will have him look at it.
Thanks
