Default some cool Info..

I wasn't really sure where to post this at, so I figured I would start here. I found some cool information on synthetic oil and changes and stuff the other day, thought I would share.. Here is the link.

I got as far as past results. According to their tests M1 can go longer than I thought. I didn't get to far into the amsoil testing, not sure if its better or worse but I will still use M1 over amsoil simply because of availibility. You can find M1 anywhere but amsoil is harder to come by and I don't think the difference is drastic enough for me to go out of my way to find it.

amsoil "held up better" but turned into a 15w-40 by the end of the test and the ls1 didnt really like it to well fuel economy was down 15% by the end of the test

M1 is better more consistant even if you change it at 10k miles

Yeah, I had always heard that synthetics could go longer than normal, but I never realized how much. Not that I will take mine that far, but 8,000 seems realistic..

I used royal purple for awhile and liked the results. But my change of mind came from the fact I was spending $42.00 to change the oil myself everytime
