Cool which stall do yall reccomend

i have a 05 chevy silverado reg cab 2wd with basic bolt ons cold air intake, mass air flow sensor, pacesetter lts and 4.10 gears i am wanting to get a cam and a stall this summer. what would yall reccomend for that. another year or 2 i mite go ahead and supercharge it but that ll be later on. what do u guys reccomend? thanks

i agree. i love mine. works great on a stock cam. and if and when you get a cam it gives you a lot of choices.

yea thats what i was thinkin around a 3000. but that will be ok for a daily driver and a weekend truck right?

oh yeah and what kind of cam do yall think would be good with all of the mods so far. i heard thender racing cams were pretty good, but idk. thanks

i was actually wondering this same thing... i too will be getting one pretty soon and wasnt sure what to go wit, i never even considered 3000, i was plannin on doing like a 2400 or something cause 3000 seems so high for a dd??

you won't feel any difference with the 2400. if you go with a TT3000, they drive just like stock and are tight.

I'm about to put a 3800 on my DD..... I was running a 3200... there's nothing to be afraid of when runnign a high stall converter on the street.... just make sure you have enough cooler.

3000 or bigger IMO. i went with a 2600 and only cut .2 from my 60' times. now im stepping up with the 3200 so i can get the benifit of a real converter.

as i posted above i love my TT3000, but to tell you the truth if i had to do it all over again i'd get like a 3400 or something. the TT3000 is really tight and feels almost stock.
