Exclamation problem with rear end!!!!!!!!

so there i was going to the mall. i got into the parking lot and swong the silvy sideways. after that i turned into the spot where i was going to park when all of a sudden i fell my truck doing something weird so i keep turning to the left and it keeps going. what was happening was the back driverside tire was spinning a little just a little if you put it on a road it would look like this the up part being the skid only a little skid like about size of your shoe.

sounds like a stock rear going kablowey.... sometimes when they break it's catastrophic, sometimes it's like you describe... either way it sounds like you killed the limited slip.

sounds like your rearend stayed locked after you swung it out. that caused the truck to jerk and stuff because both wheels are turning the same speed while you are turning a corner. happened to me in a parking garage this weekend. i spun my tires and then rolled 60 feet or so then turned into the space. rear was still locked. now the popping sound might have been just the rear unlocking. hopefully. do you hear any noise coming from the rear now? if not you might be ok for now.

it was probably just the rear staying locked, then the "pop" sound was the rear unlocking. sweet design, huh?
