Default Rebuilding the 4l80e

I am thinking of going through my 4l80e before I put it in (it has 62k on it). I have never rebuilt a trans before but I order a video that will walk me through it step by step. Is there a kit that you guys recomend? I was just going to do the alto red egale clutches, 34 element sprag, steals, and seals. I dont beat up on my truck, so I think I will be ok with a mild build. THe hard parts get expensive quick, money's tight. I go to the track maybe 3 times a year, maybe a few dyno runs here and there, other than that I baby it.

If the 4l80e has 62k on it, do I need to replace the teflon snap rings or can I just reuse them?

For what its worth, my 80e had about the same mileage on it when I put it in the truck. It is completely stock. The shift kit for it has been in the basement for about 18 months. I'll get it installed eventually.

I would leave it. Those trans last 100k all day in heavy duty truck applications.
