Default ABS light after gearset failure - will it go away?

I stripped the ring gear at the track a couple of months back and have finally scheduled the repair. Obviously I threw the ABS system for a loop. Will this ABS warning light go away after the repair is made and the vehicle speed sensor and ABS sensors get back in sync?
