Question Vibration shaft or gears WHO"S the MAN?

[B][B][FONT=Arial][SIZE=2][COLOR=Navy][B][IMG]I have a short wheel base 2003 GMC with 410 gear eaton posi and have a vibration at 80+ with a new shaft and yolk. The last time I had this vibation I lost a drive shaft at 100+ and still have this problem. I was told the bearing or the pinion could be the problem. when I changed the posi unit was when I noticed this vibrtion at 80+ Who's the man that could have the master plan

did you balance the shaft after you put the new yolk in??? and when the shaft went out, its possible to have damaged the pinion bearings

No I did not balance the shaft due to it being a brand new shaft and yolk from GM that was balance from the factory. I had the same viberation the day I gave my old drive shaft to the scrap yard when it came out. I have some type of problem I think other than the shaft. Pinion, bearing or shims.

67ss509 I'll be by your shop ASAP when I get the first chance this week. Maybe you can just give me your drive train on the red rocket so you can slow down for some of the rest of us in the rear.
