You should have no trouble towing with that.

You will be fine as long as you have a large tranny cooler. I towed the same weight with my built trans and a 3900 stall just fine.

You will be fine I towed a trailer with my bike sotck wheels/tires, my stock motor and a bunch of other parts I pulled off of it. And about a 1000#s worth of other crap for damn near 1000 miles(North AL to central TX) with no problems. When you are running down the highway with the TC locked up it doesnt matter what stall you have, just have to watch out for long hills and watch your trans temp.

I towed this (about 5200#) 250 miles with a stock (tg shift kit and vette servo) trans and a TB 22-2400 verter no problem. I do have a smallish tranns cooler, but that's it. Plus I tow my 5x8 enclosed trailer full of my crap (about 3000# you can see it in the back round) all over the country. I tow all the time with my turboed 4.8. 4x4.

With a built trans, you should have no trouble.
