Default Transmission Help!!!!

I need to order a rebuild kit for my 4L60E that will be going behind my 400+ HP 6.0L . Some people reccomended 4l60-e.com so I went there. Will someone please tell me if the #K19 Combo Kit fit my transmission? It is a 4L60E that was bolted up to my 4.8L in my 1999 Silverado. Thanks

the part number you need is 4L80E. Sorry to be the guy that trys to tell you not to do what you want, but the 60E really isn't going to hold up behind that 6.0. There is no point in putting the time and money into rebuilding it.

I know that's what I need! However, I'm only 18 years old and have a tight budget. I also already bought my Yank TT3000 stall for the 4L60E and I'm pretty sure the converter will not fit a 80E

I can understand that, but im 99% sure that a 60e converter will not fit an 80e.

if you can beef up and rebuild 65E, that will be nice with converter you got.
