they are great. I love mine. 115,000+ miles and still runs strong and uses no oil. I know quite a few guys with 250,000+ miles on them and had no problems. Also when mine was totaly stock it got about 22mpg.

Lots of front end issues on 4x4s, balljoints, wheel bearings, etc. Some minor stuff with the engine (oil cooler lines leak, intake manifold gasket leak) but none would be an issue since your swapping the engine. My 98 had the trans start to **** itself shortly after 100k miles. But it had nearly every option, comfy leather seats, enough room to move all my **** to Connecticut for school and back home again. Not to mention mine got rear ended by some tool in a riced out civic and it totaled the Civic and only broke the $30 GMC brake light I had in the hitch, so they're pretty tough haha

I own a 99 Blazer, I like it for the most part except the gas mileage is worse than my friends V8 pickups, and they have more power. Ive only owned it for 3 weeks now so I couldnt really tell how it is with issues. So far Ive replaced the Alternator and the door pins were replaced as part of the deal. Hopefully the rest of the ownership isnt this bad.

Yeah i will be fighting for it they still have not even talked about it to me yet just my supervisor. Im gonna try to get transfered to another camous but they dont open till Jan 08. So we shall see how it goes if not ill be getting my degree and see ya to this job. I like the people I work with but the upper management is all about them and thats it. I think its funny i work for a college and the promotion is always equal oppurtunity and everything but they screw there workers over all the time. Its happened to me a few times and although i get great benefits not sure if its worth all the trouble.

well there is my little rant thanks guys for the comments about the truck. I know i still want it just have to wait a little bit longer. I want either a black Jimmy preffered or a black Sonoma ext cab.
