so i would like to know what are everyones goals and if you'll are changing anything.


i will start by saying i am working on get my new heads and getting all stuff to put the bo on in feb.

Get the 408 running on 14 psi and hit 10's :devil:

Hit lower 12's on this setup and start piecing together a larger bore.

Find some traction somewhere (maby santa will bring me some for christmas!) I want to get into the 13's with motor only my best is a 14.36 with major traction issues and an awful light. Then I want to spray my way into the 12's. After that I dont know.

Get all 8 cylinders back up to 200 psi of compression, some antifriction coatings and some ceramic thermal barrier on piston tops and chambers.Then maybe some more weight loss . Go back to a flat hood.

mildly worked over 243 heads on the LS1, cam it, and hopefully make high 12's on motor. then spray to see if i can dip into 11's...hopefully im not asking too much lol.

Have my heads worked over possible get some fordged rods/pistons....still not sure if that one is worth the investment at this point.
Get a 3200 stall and hopefully run some 12's on motor.
Then i will get me some gogo juice and maybe hit 11's.
Eventually if it's a good year...aka:no more broken trannies....do a intake swap as well.
Oh i'll have to get some traction at some point in there as well lol.

LOL - I figure if Dusty is running 11.4's with a 6.0 at 14 psi I should be able to hit 10's with the same psi on the 408 with a little bit of weight reduction. I might have to find someone to borrow some smaller tires from too....but damn it, I'm gonna do it!!!

And if I can't do it with just the turbo I'll probably have to spray a little to get me there :)

i want to build a reliable daily driveable 6.0 t-56 and swap it into my fullsize before my birthday

unfortunately i have to make my s-10 the daily driver by then and it's in 3 pieces cab and frame, bed, 2x3 tubing (frame not made yet)
