At least he only Slaughtered himself. ;) Yup, great idea to drive a station wagon at 150 mph. Great idea to do it through a turn. nonnieselman 10-19-2006, 10:52 PM what kindof car was that? 2006 Volkswagen station wagon?? dirt track racer 81 10-20-2006, 12:12 PM can a vw station wagan actually go that fast? Toe 10-20-2006, 12:15 PM Probably can, they build those cars to do the autoban, which is why all your German made cars have some pretty good top end to them. endo 10-20-2006, 02:49 PM Brilliant advice from the CHP: Had Slaughter been driving at the speed limit, he might have made the transition onto I-15 safely, authorities said. redwagon 10-20-2006, 02:53 PM that's one good reason to drive a big truck. idiots in vw's racing around. TG02Z71 10-20-2006, 07:40 PM Looked like a V8 Toureg maybe?? 97sicksled 10-21-2006, 05:04 PM he definetly got what he deserved 99Silverado5.3 10-25-2006, 06:17 PM he definetly got what he deserved fwiw...no one deserves to die 2k5Squirrel 10-25-2006, 06:18 PM fwiw...no one deserves to die what about those fightin our troops????? 99Silverado5.3 10-26-2006, 01:41 AM what about those fightin our troops????? They know they're going to die. They want to die cause it's the "cool thing" to do over there... I just thought it was a crappy thought that saying the guy deserved to die. So next time we juice up and see what our car/truck/bike can do, we deserve to die? No...There's probably not many people on this board that can honestly say they've never been over 100mph on the street. And if they havn't it's because they have a speed limiter or they are Mr. Allstate Driver Of The Year. onebadrubi 10-26-2006, 12:32 PM They know they're going to die. But then again it might have something to do with it being a SRT-8 Magnum. Felt really stable at those speeds. :) Last Call 11-03-2006, 10:03 AM I do not take my truck over 110-120 very often. It is too big and hard to stop, even with the 14" brakes. However, I went 175mph on the bike. I went out on a Sunday morning about 6:00 am to an open road, anad gave it all it had. I wont be doing it again, I was just curious. I usually drive about 85 on the bike on the freeway. California highways are dangerous! |
