Default 4.10 gears for a 04' 4x4?????????

Anyone know where to find 4.10 gears front and rear for a 04' z-71? Does anyone have these, do you like or dis like them? Just want some more get up.

it really depends on what your plans are and how big of a tire you plan to run if you will like 4.10s. i hated my 4.10 with 235-75-16 tires loved them with 285-75-16 tires and hate them with 315-75-16 tires

I've got them from the factory in my Avalanche. I wouldn't run another gear with this heavy-a$$ truck. It gets you off the line much better than 3.73's and doesn't kill you on gas mileage - I average about 15 mpg.

who makes the best ones? also i have to change out the ones up front also right? also i have 295's right now these gears would be best or go bigger?

GM but there way too expensive never heard anything bad about motive, superior yukon, i have heard richmonds whine but im not sure. 4.10's are plenty with 295's. You can just do the rear and wait and do the front later just dont put it in 4 wheel drive for any reason. You will be satisfied for a while with 4.10's, stall and a tune. (or higher stalled converter however you wana say it)
