With a 4l80e in a truck with a pcm flashed for the 4l60e, what exactly will it do. Im wondering because i haven't had tuning done yet but the trans has park, nuetral, and one forward gear and would like to know if this is normal. Thanks

 

Solenoids won't fire in correct order. The second vss won't been "see" by the ecm. I've never tried it and I wouldn't want to try it out.

 

I believe that is what 99Z71 said his did. I can't remeber, might P.M him, But I'd just load a 80 bin and be done....

 

the trans would eat its self???

 

Just don't get into boost with the Gm stock bin file.

 

I realy don't think it is a good idea. There are a few wirring differentses between the two.

 

Im not driving any distance with it the way it is, i just got everything bolted up and the 6.0 running and i'm just trying to figure out if its just because of the tuning (which will be done this week hopefully), or if its a transmission issue.

 

That would be my guess...
