Default Line Lock? Performance brakes? SS brake lines?

I'm hearing a little squealing and I"ve got just over 50k on the truck so it needs brakes. I have been thinkin I need performance brakes and SS lines and I'd like to do a line lock also.

What advice do you folks have for me regarding performance brakes, SS lines and line lock? I have 18" wheels.

I really appreciate recommendations for new rotors and calipers that will stop this behemoth a little quicker and I'd appreciate any experience you've had with line locks on a 2002 ext cab.

Thanks, Jim

I read the thread regarding the line lock installed backwards and I don't see the advantage to using this method. Why is backwards better? Thanks, Jim

installing backwards in the rear as opposed to reg in the front will allow you the control of how hard you apply the front brakes compared to locking them on or off

I don't think I'm comfortable with the idea of havng no rear brakes unless I remember to switch the line lock off.

How much difference in braking distance after 3 piston calipers and ss brake lines are installed? They say 36% more clamping power but how does that translate to distance and is the worth the $$$. I hate spending $$$ when it's not related to go or show.
