I would make sure I'm 100% positive before I would go 2/4. I gaurantee you you'll want to go lower. Take a look at a 4/6 that's the perfect drop for a truck. The combo you want for that would be spindels and a flip kit.

Mcgaughys's has a good kit for the 2wd trucks. DJM is good aswell.

IMHO anything over 3/4 is too much. youll have to C notch the frame unless you like bottoming out, and if you live and an area like i do youll be scraping everywehre and its just to bumpy and etc to be that low. and anything past that isnt that great looking unless you likethe lowrider effect

Yeah QUIK I have a 6/4 drop on my Joe Gibbs Truck with 275x45x20 and because of the damn bounce I am going to raise it up an inch. My tires hit the freakin inner fender well. Plus it is a pain in the AZZ when you on the highway and hit a nbump and see a puff of smoke from the tire hitting. Of course I have gone with this particular tire size because it looks the best to me with this particular drop.

I have the TVS kit from Hotchkis. Looks and handles great. I didn't install it myself, but I hear it's not too hard to do. Kit set me back about a grand. It consists of fron coils, rear leafs, and sway bars for front and back.

Default Drop

Hey Blue I have a similar kit minus the sway bars and I also put the Mcgaughy's 2' drop spindles on as well. What shocks are you using?

well the truck has Hotchkis front and rear sways, Edelbrock IAS shocks, and some other Hotchkis thing that hangs down it looks weird, ive seen the same stuff on auto X trucks but my dad isnt auto x'ing, i would do 4/6 but hes an old man and im sure he doesnt want lower than a 2/4...so 2" spindles for the front and shackles and hangers for the rear?
