Default Shop needs test fit vehicles

Our shop is testing some new valve covers for correct fit on different vehicles.

If someone is willing to come hang out at the shop for an hour or so and let us test fit a valve cover on your V-8 '99+ GM truck we'd really appreciate it.

Worst case scenario you'd waste an hour (or two with driving) seeing some cool new stuff and get some new valve cover gaskets when we put your stock covers back on.

So far we've only test fit an LQ9 Escalade, and an '06 Z06 (sorta), but our stuff should fit any GM Gen. 3/4 V-8.

PM, email, or reply here if you're interested.

All the truck style motors should fit the same. What exactly is different about these valve covers?

Good to know. We're really just looking for clearance around the surrounding equipment.

What exactly is different about these valve covers?
They are a two-piece design with a fully cnc machined exterior and sealing surfaces, which hides the coil packs, accomodates high lift/ratio cams/rocker arms, uses stock plug wires/oil cap/o-ring gasket/valve cover bolts, has provisions for stock PCV connections, and they look awesome polished.

So there's a lid that goes over the coils? And openings for plug wires?
Do you have any pics of the LQ9 Escalade ones?

www.abearmotorsports.com

Install pics are on an LQ9 Escalade. It really needs some wire cleanup and fuel rails to make it look nice, but its a start.

We are milling the lids the long way now (see pics..) instead of at an angle. But we can do pretty much whatever the customer wants.
