dont overtorque those girdle bolts..... they are just supposed to preload the bearings and give support/rigidity... I have seen some carriers go south in a hurry (like less than 1K miles) if they arent setup right... where'd ya get it from ?

WoW nice cover! I thought when I read the title maybe it was a pic of one of my units. LOL. I believe that those bolts for the preload are very critical. Use a torque wrench! Thanks for the picture! Vince

It said 5 ft. lbs for me, but i think it wanted me to unbolt something else inside of there. I got it from white's pit stop. Found it on google. I first ordered one from thunder racing because they told me it was in stock, but after i ordered it "im sorry to inform you that we are currently out of stock." w/ no date listed. So i called and he said about another 2 weeks till they're made, then they'll be shipped to thunder racing, then shipped to me. So, and i got it from them. But of course, im pretty sure i have the wrong bolts. Oh, and this is what the insde looks like

And vince, Ill be sure to post pics when i order something from you. And just to get your hopes up, mine keeps bouncing around gears and slipping.
