Silverado Handling

The TVS is really hard to beat.
Basically you want your truck to remain as flat as possible and as consistent as possible in turns. No suspension type is truly better then any other. Some are just more tunable (see first sentence)
There are many things you can do to make it handle better. The easiest is sway bars; well tuned sway bars can be worth as much as .25g's. Lowering your truck also lowers the center of gravity (both instant and imaginary center of gravity). Stiffer springs also offers more consistent handling. Then there are the little things that add to handling such as stiffer rubber in suspentions (as suspension deflection is bad) such as poly graphite, polyurethane, ect. Some sort of device to keep your rear axle centered, such as a watts link or panhard bar, also improves consistency and handling. And obviously matched shocks help. The most important part of you suspension is your tires. Good tires make all the difference.
If you want small improvements with a good bang for the buck, sway bars. If you want a bit more the TVS is a good bet as Hotchkis is the ONLY manufacturer that makes increased spring rates for our trucks (unless you want to get something custom made) It just depends on how far you want to go. Figure a stock 2wd truck pulls something like a .5 or .6. How much more do you want?
