the suv's are from diffrent dealers.
oops need to edit polls: 25,700 is out the door tax tag title and 23,998 is before taxes.
ok i right now have a choice between two diff suv's. the first is a 2004 hoe lt full loaded minus dvd and navi. 53000 miles and new tires and rims ( it looks like they took the rims and tires off a newer silverado 17's) its green with tan leather interrior. looks real nice. the wife is not much on the tan interior. they are asking 23,998 but when my wife took it back the manager came out and said did you like it she said yeah and he we can come way down on it. what "way down" mean i don't know.
the second is a 2004 yukon slt fully loaded minus dvd and navi. ( all the same extras as the hoe) 23000 miles with bald tires. its dark silver with dark grey interior which my wife loves. it was not cleaned yet infact he picked it up from his manager (which drives it) and came over to my friend house to compare the two side by side. it was dirty so it was hard to tell what the body looked like.
ok here is what i found between the two.
tahoe yukon
new tires and rims bald tires dirty rims.
53000 miles 23000 miles
no G80 G80
tan (wife no likey) gray interior (wife loves)
looked real clean with a dirty not cleaned yet but no noticable dents.
minor dent above but a few door dings.
rear right bumper
winds noise at 70mph didn't go fast enough but at about 60mph
no noise.
the wife claims the yukon felt faster to her but i think it was because the tires are 1" shorter. both have 3.73's
both four wheel drive
now one thing i noticed was the amount of rust on the yukon. but as i looked closely the tahoe seemed to have the same thing. but it looked to be cleaned and treated with something because from a distance it looked real nice but up close you could see the line rust makes when you paint over it. but it wasn't painted over more like the rust treatment stuff on it. not so much a black paint.

well i got the apple. lol its the tahoe but when you open the door it looks like a dark green apple that someone took a bite out of and let it set. its got the tan interior and the dark green matalic. we took the two suv's to a shop and put them up on the lift. the yukon was one rusty mother f-er. we put the tahoe on first and looked it over looked alright. then we put the yukon up and soon as the wife looked under it she said "nope get it down its too rusty" lol so she agreed the tahoe was better.
so now i have to spend the next week telling other dealer no thanks i found one.
