Default Need an IAC valve.

Well Allen Nelson said the reason why im having idling problems is because my IAC is sticking. I pulled it off last night and cleaned it. Same symptoms. Im gonna pull the tb completely off tomarrow and the whole tb.

What do yall have? Please include the amount of miles and the condition. Pics are appreciated as well. Thanks for reading.

You sir do not have one. You have a DBW(Drive By Wire) throttle body. What i am looking for is a little motor that goes on the side of a 99-02 tb which is a cable driven TB(right hand side, towards the top) with a female wire harness conection.

An IAC is an Idle Air Control valve which sort of sets the idle and i guess moves the proper amount of air to the motor to make the idle level. Mine is sticking.

This little guy right here.

TTT. Anybody got an extra TB laying around that i can steal this off of?

It surges from time to time and will die down on cold starts. Allen said that its a common problem. I got a live tune from him and he said that it was a common problem he saw from time to time. I cleaned it with little to no results.
