I ordered a converter over a month ago John told me that it would take around two weeks and that he would send me an email with tracking number. Well i have not heard one word and i have tried everyway possible to reach him except purchasing a damn plane ticket and flying to his shop. If he would have told me that it may take a month or more when i ordered you would not be reading this. Im upset because i cant find out my order STATUS, thats all i want to know.
I have left several voice messages and now seem to not get through because the mailbox is full. SO I AM ASSUMING IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON HERE TRYING TO GET SOME INFO!
Whats the deal, anyone know? Anyone talked to John lately?
Hopefully I will hear something quickly

I know a lot of people have had good luck with Fuddle, but I called for 3 straight days to order a converter and couldn't get anyone to answer or return my messages. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't think hiring someone for $8 an hour to answer the phone would break the bank.
Good luck man, I hope you get it all worked out!

Nor did i or do I, it might be even longer! I agree tan, small investment considering selling one converter a week would pay for the employee that takes calls. Not only that but MAN look how many orders he is missing out on, and how many customers are becoming upset.

ooooo man i know they are upsetting customers and people like me are reading this and they are losing potential customers.... i have no doubt in my mind that they make a bad ass converter but hell man half the battle is customer service and if you don't have any your going to lose business

I am in the same boat as you all are. I have been trying to contact them to place an order for several day now and can't get a hold of them. Oh well, good thing is I am not in a hurry.

I have tried to contact them a few times also ...I guess they have enough business. I went elsewhere.

it's sad to see, they do have a great product, I've driven/ been in two trucks with their converters and I think they are awesome. Unfortunatly if my tranny craps out unexpectedly and I need a new converter fast I'll have to order a Yank because Fuddle just seems to have enough business and doesn't seem concerned about customer service woes... now don't get me wrong, if I get my transmission ready before my current one takes a :turd: I will order and wait on the Fuddle

If I would have known then what I know now, my truck would have gotten a Vig, or a Yank. Im glad I did wait, but I was in a time crunch, and it took a while for mine to cmoe in. I can honestly say it was definatly worth the wait, but order early.

Well, Its not just the wait. I dont mind waiting IF and the Keyword IS IF they provide me with details after the sale. I would like an estimated time of delivery. If Fuddle is backed up and cant produce the converters in a decent time frame they should inform us; right? By fuddle not informing me of the "real wait" makes me think that they are in it for the sale. He has my money and now i have to wait and have no clue when and if i will recieve it, Im sure i will but its the point. I agree with you guys about how important customer service is! Funny thing, when i first called John and left a message stating that i would like to purchase a converter he called back quickly around 45 min. later from a blocked number WTF is up with that; at the time i didnt think much of it. I wish i had that DAMN NUMBER. Price was not a factor in my converter choice I just read some good comments about happy customers.I regret my choice now....
Too all of you reading this! If yall see a post about a member interested in a Fuddle Converter please send them a link to this thread, Im not trying to take away fuddles bussiness but i think that i would have appreciated a thread like this before i ordered mine!
Thank you all for your replys and thoughts :)

I say do that all over again. I'd call from a different number and leave a message saying that you would like to purchase a converter. If they call back wanting to take your order, just tell them who you are and ask where in the hell your converter is. I dunno, it may work man. :jest:

looks like the MODS took care of a thread...sorry, 2005suburban started a post about Fuddle and i guess the mods didn't like the words being typed about a Sponsor

It didn't have anything to do with it being about a sponsor, 2005suburban is the same as cammin03' who was banned a long time ago. As soon as the mods found out he was back they banned his new name and locked his threads.

I am debating a stall also, but i hate it when I cant find out what is going on, i would much rather spend an extra $200 to have good customer service. What happens if it is defected? You wait a month to work it out? I would go with yank, Vig or buy a slightly used one on ebay and take my chances. Thanks for the info!

i hear ya man, Fuddle also has a reputation of sending out converters that are stalled to high etc.

Check out the sponsor feedback on ls1tech. There has been negative post there for months on him. I bet he is a 1 - 3 man shop and is just swamped. He is probably so far behind that he just quit answering his phone from what I can tell. Or at least that is what I would like to think. Answering the phone just gets you further behind and paying someone that knows nothing about the past 4 months to answer the phone is pretty much worthless cause they would just have to pester "the man" and keep him from getting anything done still. I feel it is just a case of a business grown too fast for it too keep up with itself. I know 1slow01z71 got a couple of converters from him almost a year ago and had no issues at all getting in touch and resolving problems etc. Just my .02

DOnt even go there just not a good guy, and liked to give the mods a hard time.
I have had good luck with him, I actually had one of the first truck converters he ever made. I called him yesterday since Im switching to an 80e will see how long it takes for him to get back to me.
some sort of explaination of why things are going south for him

I heard awhile ago that he was in the hospital. I was led to believe it was serious. Hopefully he will get better and get his company back up and running smoothly. :)

now that your long wait is over, you should be very happy with your product
