I just had one installed and did the same thing...towards the dive shaft so as not to lose any clearance. I'll try to post pics within a few days.

i had mine aimed at the d/s but if you dont ahve an elec cutout it's more of a pita to open up, so i re aimed it down and i like it ALOT better i can pop the plate off just kneeling instaid of crawling on my back

as far as ground clearence goes i havent had a problem yet on a 4/6 drop it hand about 2.5" below the frame, sounds better and is alot quieter in the cab (STILL PLENTY LOUD jsut no resonation problems) tallest thing i drive over on a reg basis is a speed bump or driveway enterance i've actually made it up on a curb approaching from the side

I take it you run around with it open? I wouldn't be concerned about drone at the track.

dual cut outs right at the header collectors... they are turned in a little to help with the clearence but they still catch on stuff sometimes just with a 2/4 drop and 18's... I'm about to go to a 4/6 drop with 16's so I am sure they'll drag even more. I am thinking about going to just one right at the y-pipe anyway.
