Default took out my first Lightning

comming home the other night my neighbors friend is pulling out from a local fill up station in his 03 Lightning and as I drive by I give him a little bump. Sure enough I see him comming in the rear view so I slow to about 50 and wait. We he pulls up I gave him the nod and pointed stright and he nodded as well and off we go. It did not last long maybe to 100mph or so but it was and instant pull off and still gaining when I let off (I would say about 3 trucks or so). When we got to the light he said the truck ran and sounded great. I let him know his truck was very nice as well and asked if he ever ran it, he said no it was stock and was also for sale. Im am not sure if beating a stock Lightning is anything to brag about with my set up but it was the first one I ever got to race so I was happy I won.

great kill either way... those lightnings can be pretty nasty even stock. I hope I am even able to hang with an un-modded one.... much less put 3 lengths on him.

You could probably hang w/ a stock L.Depending on the year and driver skill.

With your mods a stock L won't hold up.It kinda depends on the driver.Lightnings are alot stronger from a dig though.I wonder if the outcome would have been different from a dig.

Yep, from a dig it may have been closer. Either way it's a win.
