Default how much of a difference going from 29" slick to a 28" slick

I have 29x10.5R15 slicks on 15 inch rims and I seem to croos the traps just as I go into 3rd gear. I have 3.73 gears on the set up and I want to know how much of an RPM difference and MPH difference to expect going to a 28x9R15? It is shorter and not as wide. I will end up going with 4.10 befor it is all said and done but I would like to know how much the slicks will efect my ET.

I was hoping a little better but I guess 4.10's are going to be a must

If I recall right around 3600-4000 rpms. I shift into 3rd about 50ft from the traps. I ran a 12.80 at 104 and I know the weather had a lot to do with it and also my tune needs work but I know low 12's to high 11's are possible on this motor. It may take good weather, smaller tires, bigger gears, and a better tune but I know it can be done.
