I have an '86 Silverado, longbed, dual tanks too... I'm interested to see how your truck turns out.

What gears are you going to put in the rear?

Sounds familiar...... I have an 86 that is currently stripped to the frame for some restoration. Similar engine, but i'm going with a 4L80E. What power level are you shooting for?
