Would a 28" tire make much difference in my launch? (Now running 32") What will it do to my top end? Look :gay: ?

Is there a better way I can spend this $500?

IMO... Huge difference if the weight is the same or less as your current set-up and you have the traction.

You should see a nice decrease in your overall ET (traction and weight dependant). You should be able to utilize your gears better and cross the traps in a higher RPM. :drive:

...and yes, it will look :gay:

BTW, I run 29" tires down from my 32" and cross the traps at 57-5800RMP with a 4:10.

You thinking about some ET Streets? They hook-up great, so if you're having traction issues at launch these should take care of it. I haven't weighed mine, but just from feel, they are lighter than my 265/70/16 Toyo's. I have them mounted on the same type wheel my Toyos are on and I can one hand them over the side of the bed and into the back of the truck, where I have to use two hands on the Toyo's. The 28's raised my trap RPM approximately 450 rpm.
