View Full Version : 4.0 carb intake ?? Yelo 03-25-2006, 11:36 PM I'm looking at swapping an early 4.0 into a 1984 Bronco II and I'd REALLY like to find a carb intake for it so I can skip all of the electronic mumbo-jumbo and keep this pretty simple....is there one available or am I gonna be screwed here ?? I looked into this already.....and it won't work AT ALL It appears 2.9 stuff will work on the 4.0....but since the 2.9 was never carb'd it's kind of a moot point. IF I go this way I'm going to fab up a sheet-metal intake for the 4.0...not the easiest thing in the world to do but it's probably my only way to go An11secRanger 03-29-2006, 10:40 AM Different intake port placement..................
