About 6 months ago I decided that I wanted to build a dune buggy type offroader for school to enter into a metal fabrication contest. I finally got enough money to get it started by buying a tubing bender and DOM tubing.

The original design started off more like a dune buggy, but it's developed over time into more of a prerunner/truggy. I figured it'd be worthy for the forum since it is running a chevy 350 :D . I'll try to post up more pictures as we go along. The majority of the welding and metal fab work is being done by my buddy Zach.

here's a short spec list
Specs:
1975 chevy 350
TH350 trans
68 Camaro 10 bolt, 8.5"
custom built 4-link
custom built huge front a-arms (14" of travel)
31" boggers
5 point harnesses
Swayaway coilovers

The whole chassis, no motor, no tires weighs about 350 pounds :-)

I'll have more pictures by monday, we shoudl have the coilovers on by then and we can roll it out into the driveway. The thread on blazinlow.com is here for the whole build up
