I'm the guy that got jerked around on his tune
I got so upset with him I bought HP Tuners and fixed his tune myself. I have his original tune on file for those who want a good laugh. The timing tables have holes all over in them. Yes in certain rows it would go something equivalent to 24 24 0 20 24 26 18 24 30 28 etc. There are several LSx dyno tuners in minnesota, you just don't know where to look
What city are you from? I may be able to help you (since I have HPT) or I can point you to at least 2 other dyno tuners in minnesota that are a lot better than DRM. I'm glad I caught this thread in time and hopefully I can stop you.-Joe

I would recommend TPI Specialties in Chaska, MN or in your neck of the woods,HI Tech Motorsport Incorporated
13915 Radium St NW Ste C
Anoka, MN 55303-9144
(763) 712-9088
or if you're not doing anything too complicated, I can help you out too and I'm in Maple Grove

Joe thanks alot, i forgot all about tpis do they have a chassis dyno? they must be pretty good i would think, i am in the south metro (woodbury) and i have some time to shop around, i wont be gettting the truck out of the garage for another month, and that will be to take it to the paint booth, but in the summer i am hopeing to do a cam stall few other goodys and i am going to need it tuned i would be just as happy to drive the distance to get a tune done right,

If you're in woodbury then you're closer to TPIS than Doug Rippie in the first place. And yes both TPIS and Hi-Tech both have full chassis dyno's.
Please go to either one, but I'll be disappointed in you if you go to Doug Rippie. His tuning ability stinks, he doesn't listen to what the customer wants and gets pissed when you tell him what you don't like about the tune. He couldn't even figure out how to remove my rev limiter at 5600 RPM. Once I looked at the tune, he neglected to disable the ETC cutoff at 5599 RPM's. Basic tuning knowledge........ Anywho, he uses LS1 edit and I believe hi-tech uses tunercat and TPIS uses EFI Live, I could be wrong on that though....... Feel free to PM me if you want to talk on the phone or ask about my total "tuning" experience.......
