I purchased a 2004 GMC Sierra that had been flooded from an insurance auction. I replaced the fuse blocks and BCM. The engine starts then stalls and dies. I read that the BCM/PCM would have to relearn but my security light doesn't follow the sequence described in the relearn process. I start the engine and leave the ignition on but the security light goes off immediately. The relearn says it will take 11 minutes. I have checked all of my volatges and they are right. One other thing that is strange is the radio indicators light but it will not work. Is there a program I can buy for my laptop to manually setup the relearn?
