I have a 00 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71, Right now I have 285/75/16's, My body lift came in the mail today and I'll put it on sometime this week.

I just bought new Helo Maxx 6 wheels and they are 16x10's... I have them on the truck now and the 285 are rubbing in reverse with the wheel turned all the way in either direction.

I would like to go with a 315... will it fit with the body lift, or will I have to put some ford torsion keys in....

Or will it not work and I'll have to go with 305's ???

Some pics would be nice...

Oh.... and I know how everyone fells about Body lifts... But I don't have the money for the sus. lift right now.

have you tightned up your torson bars? what part of the truck are the wheels rubbing on?

Im sure youre only rubbing on the bumper valance, but thats normal, just trim it up a little and youll be good to go, also with that body lift you should be able to clear 315's, you might need to put a few turns on your torsion bars.

i had the same setup i had BFG A/T ko 315 75 16 (35")and had no scrubbing. well i had some b/c of the parking brake cable pushing on the inner finder but i moved it and had none i actually still have the tires my friend has the same setup also ill try and get some pics of his truck up tonight.

Thanks guys.... I just put the body lift on last night... and it is a job it you do it all by yourself...

I think it turned out all right... I was missing one of the mounts and bolts for the tow hitch, I need to see if I can order one from performance accessories.

Also the front bumper was a bitch to line up.. not sure its perfect but I got tired/bloody/ and cold... so I said FU#$ IT....

And the front bumper valence was also shit.. the pattern that comes with it saying where to trim... That was messed up...

hey i tried to put up pics but it didnt work ill try again later, when i did mine it took me 14 hours to put on, 10 hours to take off, then i put in on my friends truck 9 hours to put on, my instructions sucked but who reads them anyways right. what took me so long was popping off the wires from the frame and undoing the parking brake. plus it was the first time i did one. i could prob. do it under 7 now. and i also took a sawzall to thoes brackets under the bumper i didnt see the point of keeping them, i think it looked better that way.

The kit wasn't too bad.... It sucked because I did it alone... I should have cut the front bumper brakets off, instead of cutting the valance...

I think I'll go back and do that, I will need a new valance... any ideas on where to find one?

If Im going to replace it.. I might as well put one on that has the fog light holes and get some lights.

get some pics up when you get all done. I wanna see how it looks.

find a junk yard, it might be $5, you might find the fog lights too.
