I'll try to get my buddy to take some pics for me. please do, sounds like a cool project! I thought about doing that back in my Ranger days.......ahh to be young again :bang: Joey5.4L 02-20-2006, 06:34 PM I have a buddy that started building a tubbed ranger around that year model a few years ago. They have got all the chassis work done and the engine built(357W). I dont know why they dont finish it. Mini Driftin 02-21-2006, 01:00 AM I was going to build a 94 rc stepside, but I had only seen a few, so I decided to stick to something a lot of people have already done, that way I have something to refer to. I love lightnings and almost every ford stepside or shortbed, but when it came down to it, I just didn't see the point in buying a lightning for $20Kor more, when i could build something that will smoke it more about $9k. Plus I like shifting my own gears anyway. Joey5.4L 02-21-2006, 08:33 AM You can shift your own gears in a Lightning :) Mini Driftin 02-21-2006, 11:22 PM On the column? no thanks. I'd rather stick to my hurst shifter. Plus I have for fun and contol with a clutch under my foot! |
