This week I went to the dyno... Put down 295 rwhp and 303 rwtq... How does this stack up for what I've done? My mods are in my sig.... Doesn't seem quite right, but numbers don't lie. Anyway, I was also wondering what hp levels I could expect from pretty much an LS7 (I'm prolly going to build it myself, but it will be 427ci with good heads) with about 10-12 psi of turbo boost? This is the new goal... Prolly going to be a while, but it WILL happen... Hehe. Just wait till all the Fbody guys around here see this...

whats the specs on that cam? Shorty headers are doing you no good at all, get rid of them and buy some longtubes. Sounds about average for your setup, If you do some more bolt ons im sure you could crank some more out of it.

Cam specs are 218/227-.525/.525-112 lsa. Who makes some good longtubes for trucks?

I would personally recommend the Pacesetter Longtubes with the Off Road Y-Pipe. This setup will only run you about $500 and its fully bolt on, no welding required. If you have true duals, you will have to have some exhuast work done.
Oh yea, where in Oklahoma are you, Im currently living in Okmulgee :judge:

You should get some more torque from the longtubes. Pretty good numbers for what you got.
Pacesetter, Stainless Works, Dynatech all have some good longtubes

well your looseing some from the 3500 stall as well, a higher lift cam will bring it and long tubes should get you close to 320hp tq.

Shorty headers AND the flowmasters aren't helping too much either. That is quite a stall for that cam. But nice numbers for the mods you have.

Here's a shot of before and after the cam swap. This one says 292.9 hp... He smoothed the line out a little is why... Guess this one would be more accurate really, shows a better indication of average power. The red line is before, of course... It started farther up in the rpm range cuz of the taller gears... The truck kept wanting to kick down rather than just pull.

What kind of exhaust would you recommend? Yeah, thats an awful high stall, I agree... Was going to go with a 3k stall... But the guy that built the transmission, as well as a few of my friends, talked me into the 3500.

I would have said I lost quite a bit too, but the converter was locked up during the run.

Thats a fat stall but Im running a 3200 in alot heavier truck and going to a 3600 so I have no room to talk. I recommend corsa due to being VERY quiet at cruise but loud as hell when you stomp it and its a straight through design. Either that or dynomax racing bullets or hooker aerochambers all will net you better esults than the FM. Definately get a set of long tubes.
