View Full Version : Any Indy Rams or SS/Ts? ND RAM 01-30-2006, 08:06 PM Any other limited edition 2nd Gen. Rams out there? :drive: Toe 01-30-2006, 09:49 PM I used to own a 98ss/t before I traded her in on the hemi. Was slow compared to the hemi but looked much better then my new ram does. I'll see if I can dig up some pics of it. :) 1Red Dawg 01-31-2006, 04:53 AM I know there used to be a couple members with the Indy and SS/T rams! ND RAM 02-01-2006, 10:24 PM Anybody? TwelveSecSST 02-13-2006, 09:41 AM yo guys, ZZ from bionicdodge.com and rumblebee.org! got a 97 SS/T under construction with a 600hp 408ci n/a, performance tranny and going to be 4-linking the rear (eventually)... being built as a full street truck went 13.0@105 on the stock bottom end also have an '05 Rumblebee, bone stock but 15.1@88 in the 1/4 good to be here with other Limted Edition rams! Ty bad98sst 02-14-2006, 06:29 PM Ive got a black 98 SS/T as well. Got it when I was 16 (I know lucky me) and have managed to do a handful of bolt ons over the last two years. The truck started as of an open differential  one wheel peeler and had 3.55 gears out back. I bought a set of 4.10 gears as well as a a stick trak-loc unit and they really woke the truck up. The truck also has mopar mid-length style headers, Mopar performance PCM, 14" Mopar open element Intake, True dual dynomax exhaust, MP valve covers, toyo proxes all around, and a few other bs things. The last time the track was open it went 15.1 at 89 which is OK for whats done to it, but waaaayyyyy to slow for me. Been contemplating a 100 shot of the good stuff or attempting to fabricate a single turbo kit using a master power t70, 38mm tial wastegate blah blah. Hope for some slightly more impressive times by the years end. -before the belltech shackles in the rear http://www.dodgetrucks.org/gallery/data/500/TRBORAM1.JPG Toe 02-14-2006, 08:35 PM Nice truck, makes me really miss mine. 15.1 is decent for those trucks. If I recall correctly mine had the 3.55 gears but was a limited slip. I also had the mopar running boards, they looked sharp. :) 97_360_sst 10-26-2007, 08:16 AM Ive got a black 98 SS/T as well. That was a custom peice made by Terry Delong that was a direct copy of the 1996 Ram VTS (the 8.0L Viper truck that later became the Indy Rams). I have seen two trucks other than the VTS that had that cover, mine no longer does due to an accident. I have made several attempts to track down the mold but so far have come up empty handed. I now have the Street Scene bumper cover with the air dam cut outs. zo6freak 11-20-2007, 12:50 PM My buddy has a 96 indy ram with 20000 miles on it. Very well kept truck... jd3443pd 03-26-2008, 04:30 PM Jason from Georgia here. I have a 98 Ram SS/T white with blue stripes. I'll post pics when my other computer is cooperating. 05silvy5.3 03-29-2008, 06:22 PM I always liked the ss/t's. I've seen a white one around here, sounds real nice. ND RAM 03-31-2008, 08:13 AM Glad to have ya Jason. Any mods? Occupational_Hazard 08-23-2008, 12:31 AM Used to own an indy but sold it several years back. Was a very nice police attractant even when I was a good boy. In the old days, late 90's of course. Yahoo had Y! groups. before all the forums picked up real big. all it was the email list. Lots of people in to it. but have not seen anyone from back then. ND RAM 08-26-2008, 10:00 PM The mailing list is still around. Not all too active anymore but it's still there. |
