My buddy has a 99 Dodge 2500 4x4 with 6" lift and 37"tires and he wants to hook up a tranny temp gauge.... So I was wondering what do we have to do to get this done? Thanks in advance....

I have seen kits to splice into a line but I prefer to use a aftermarket pan with a sensor bung... I am thinking that one may have a steel pan, if so you can pick up a kit to install a sensor in it... still can't think of where I saw those kits but I do know they are out there...

Yep, I've seen the Kits out there also. you just drop the pan drill the hole mont the sensor making sure it wont contact anything inside the tranny when you put the pan back up. Than ya might aswell put a new filter on while your in there. i know on the 60es there is a pulg on the driver side you can oull out and intall the sensor there aslo :)
