Default HELP on gaining top end with better time

Im in a situation that i dont know what to do. I want to install a 2600 stall, and run it with my 4:10's on 26 inch slicks. Would i lose any top end or time with this combo. or would it be best to put my 3:73's and run it with my 26 inch slicks. i was told that with that stall it would be better to run 4:10's on 28 inch slicks or 3:73's with 26 inch slicks. But i want to run better. Right now im running a 13.12@102 with 4:10's on 26 inch slicks no stall. but i want to run with a 2600 stall and be in the high 12''s. I want to gain top end with a better time. So any help would be appreciated.

If you want more top end. Look into a good blower cam. That will get you some extra pull up top. Then mate it with a nice converter.

Guy on here that goes by 03GMC is running the Vinci "Trucker" 216/224 .551/.551 115LSA and he seems pretty happy with it. Hes running a Radix on his 5.3 too. Rest of the FI guys will chime in with their grinds pretty quick.

I would say the 3:73set up may MPH a little better....but the 4:10's with the 28 inch tires will be close.

I agree, keep the 4.10s and get some 28" slicks
