Default should i swap rims and tires

i need your opinions guys, i have the stock 16in rims on my z71 with stock rims, i have a chance to strait trade for some stock 05 z71 rims and tires, should i do it? mine are already turning milky, i need to keep in mind that hopefully this summer i can get some bfg at 285's and they are about $20-$30 more a tire.

well, I personally am switching to either 16s and 285s or 20"s VHO style, the 17s are hard to get tires for and more expensive, 285/70 17s are well over 20 dollars more per tire then the 16" version.

Trade them!!! 17" tires are not much more than 16". I traded my 16's w/ fairly new Toyo tires for stock 17" Avalanche wheels and tires. The Toyos for my 16's were $112 each and for my 17's are going to be $116 each. What's $4 ???

Too bad you couldnt have been around to grab the boyds! lol

Id still swap for the 17's!! They are much nicer! Ask Shawn(element80)! lol I swapped him those 17" avalanche wheels and tires for his 16's and toyos! On a RC, the 16's and toyos looked better so i straight swapped him! The 17's would have looked much better if i wanted to buy new tires but i didnt feel like spending the cash at the time so it was easier to trade. If your going to swap tires anyways, 17's ALL THE WAY!!!
