I was wondering if it could cause any problems. Say I'm pulling a boat out of a launch, would I have a lot of problems w/ my tires spinning? Also, is it good idea to get one w/ a larger clutch for towing. Thanks for any input.

I am not thinking that I would do that if I towed.... if you do make sure that your converter will be locked up at speed or you will risk overheating your trans due to excessive slip..

I'm going back to the stock convertor. I can tow fine with my 2800rpm stall but it will not hold at lock-up, plus it makes it harder for the wife to drive when launching the boat.
Stalls are O.K for light towing as long as the clutches will hold imo.
