Default MY 1st time using Nitrous.

I finished up my install today on my 5.3 ecsb and things went pretty well. My LS1 wet kit was supposed to come with jets from 25-125 HP but it came with 100 HP and up. So, my first shot was with the 100. It felt bad *** but not as much as I had expected. I raced a 2003 harley davidson sc and stayed right on his *** until 120 when I guess he stoped or reached his max speed. Then I did a few passes against no one until my nitrous ran out, that sucked.. I shoud be recieving my yank tt 3000 and msd window switch this week and I want a rematch. I am pretty confident that I can win because I just need that one extra truck length and hopefully the Yank will make it happen. I also want to know what timing, mph shift points, and rpm shift points you nitrous guys are running. I have a diablo programmer that I can mess with but I know I need a custom tune. The only problem with that is that RWTD custom tunes lost one of their main tuning guys and they have gotten really bad about not answering emails or tune requests. I may have to fork out the 400 bucks to Nelson or Wait 4 me vs $25 for a retune if RWTD doesnt get back on track.

How long did it take you, glad everything went well. Throw those 125 pills in there and race the SC HD again. I think something around 26*~28* wot timing would be good for a 100-125 shot. As far as shift points, I would say about 5700-5800 rpms, and the mph shift points would depend on your gearing and tires.

I dont know how your tune sits right now but I dont think I'd be running around shooting 100 shots on a tune that wasn't setup for that. Wait4me will only charge you $75 or $150 I think depending on if you use your own PCM. If Nelson is gonna do an in person dyno tune for $400 then that might be your best bet. There is a tuning shop opening near me in about 3 weeks. It's being run by the guy who did your tune at RWTD. I don't think he supports Diablo/Predators yet. If you want me to find out what he can do for you, I will. Try to get RWTD to take care of you first and if you just can't get the service you want, let me know and I will contact my friend. Good luck

Install took me 4 hours the first day not including drilling through my finger and having to go to the hospital for and hour. That day I got the bottle mounted under the bed and ran the main nitrous line through the chasis. I found the perfect place to mount my noids on a spare bolt where the EGR used to plug into the intake. The second day It took me 3 hours to wire everything up and make sure it worked. I hid my toggle and micro switch really well and you cant even notice them with the door open. Pics later...
I am holding off playing with nitrous until my tune is made right.
