I'm looking for any additional info on tuning the truck to squeeze another 100-200hp out of it. I saw some headers on two guys garage that would increase hp by 17hp but the brand name slips me. It started with a "M"? I built my own Ram Air for it and ordered a new comp cam which will give me an additional 61hp.

your gonna need some sort of computer programmer to tune that comp cam.

They do say that they are supposed to work with the stock computer but some members ARE having probs with them... I would go for one of the smaller ones myself at this point in the game.
I do not know what header system that would be that starts with an M?? but the Dynatech complete system is advertised with the most HP and Torque and some members are really happy with them. Just as many or more are using the Headman Longtubes and having good luck with them. The 1/4 mile crowd seems to prefer the Hedmans from what I have seen.
I would use 2 HI Flow Cats as well..

i have a set of long tube pacsetters with an off road y pipe and i love them. that 61 hp cam is very tempting but the rpm range is pretty high. (2200-6500 rpms) not really pracitcal for a daily driver.

The other problem on the Dodge trucks is the speed density airflow monitor and PCM re-learn functions. Any upgrade you perform will be wiped out in a few miles of driving by the computer. Get a Hypertech or Superchips programmer ASAP as they disable the learning function plus add some decent power everywhere.
Like said the 61hp CC will throw codes and cause limp mode problems ( computer shuts down engine ) due to the vacuum change/loss compared to the stock cam. Go with the 6.1L Hemi cam if you can find one or wait for the custom PCM tuning that seems to be close ( KRC Performace is working very hard on one ).

Our Brother-In-Law purchased the Hypertech Programmer for his '05 Daytona, but hasn't used it yet. He was told he would have to return his truck to "Stock" settings each time he returned to the dealership for service work. Is that true, or just a bunch of "Bull"?

As to exhaust, we want to install a complete exhaust system on our '05 Hemi Ram Quad 4X4, and want headers/true dual exhaust, plus maybe an "X" pipe. Anyone done this yet?

It's not a bad idea to return to stock before going to the dealer, especially if they are performing any type of TSB or computer upgrades. The flashes will be good until you restore the original programming from the HT then might wipe it out. Also they can try to claim that the programmer caused warranty problems and not pay for them. Best to return to stock when seeing the dealer!
Not sure if anyone is doing true duals yet, maybe someone will chime in?!?

I'm with ktmrider - return it to stock before you take it to the dealer no matter what you're having done. TSB's - if you have pcm issues down the road - anything is possible and removing it is just a little security.

I've seen several on DTW do true duals with a X pipe. I was actually planning to do this to mine up until the turbo went on. IMO if you do it, use 2.5" pipes and an X.

I hear that if ya put in a 6.1 cam and add 6.1 heads you can get 50 + HP additional

I'm gonna use 3" pipe on ND RAM but it does have a Procharger & Nx. :hail:
