Well, the muffler man (me ) is at it again. I've been running the stock exhaust for a while now, took off a Magnaflow that resonated to much for me. I was happy with the stock muffler but had that little voice in the back of my head saying "stock sucks!". I had a large case (#17769, 5 1/2" x 11" x 20") Dynomax Super Turbo muffler installed this morning, keeping the stock tailpipe and resonator. I'm quite happy but only had a 15 minute drive home. This muffler is only one or two (at most) decibles louder than the stock muffler. This is on start up, normal driving, WOT and cruising on the freeway. Don't know about performance yet, it's raining and suppose to continue for a day or two. This muffler is perfect (well, nothings perfect) for someone like me who's older (will be 46 on the 28th) and still wants a "performance muffler" on their truck but doesn't want to deal with the noise. Next is the Volant CAI I bought, it's on it's way.
