Default 5.3L vs. 6.0L Throttle Body

I was digging around in the LS1 Tech forum and they were saying that the 6.0L LQ4 Throttle Body is 80mm. Is this larger than the stock 5.3L LM7 throttle body? By how much??

I have been told there is a difference with the LQ9 TB ( 80mm ) and the 4.8/5.3/LQ4 TB ( 75mm ). Never measured it myself tho....

Same with my '03 SS TB, electrical. It's a change that was made from '02 on all gen III iirc, though I might be off a year...

Yes the actual tb size is the same 03+ have drive by wire tbs that use an electrical motor instead of the cable to actuate the butterfly.

Will a drive by wire TB work on a cable driven setup. I have a 2000 Z-71, cable-driven, that I want to upgrade to a drive-by-wire. What will I need to do this swap? My 2002 already came with the drive-by-wire, cause of the traction assist.
